Registration Instructions

 

Click on the right-hand sight of the main page of our Walk A Mile In Her Shoes® website where you see options to either Give Now by donation, Purchase Tickets or to become a Sponsor. Click on the middle blue button to continue with registering. 

On the regisration page you will see different tickets you may select from to purchase. Click the blue "Select" button to choose your preferred tickets. 

Include all of the necessary contact information, then below type in your preferred your T-Shirt Size you would like. 

If you would like to continue adding more tickets, make sure to completely fill out one ticket first and click at the bottom button that says "Add Ticket." 

As you continue to scroll down this same registration page, you will see an option to "Select Your Team." 

If you do not see that your team was created, you may click within the white search box and click the second boldened option that states "New Team" and click this selection. It will populate a box below for you to type in your new team name. Please remember to share with your teammates that you have created the team to avoid creating duplicate teams.

What Does the Personal Fundraising Page Look Like?

All fundraisers receive their own personal fundraising page. Each person is able to customize the profile image on their personal page and here's what the page looks like:

       1. Click the white "Update Your Page" link in this blue square to change your profile image. You can read futher down for more information.
       2. This is the Event Header Image.
       3. Event details
       4. More general event information.
       5. Stats
       6. Content Tabs
       7. Buttons
       8. Social share buttons; click on either of these to share your personal fundraising page
       9. People who have donated through your personal fundraising page

How do I put my picture on my personal fundraising page?

  • On your personal fundraising page, click the “Update your page” link.
    (It is underneath your profile photo.)

  • This will open a box for you to add your email address (associated with this page/ticket)
  • You will receive an email with a link.
  • Click the link. You'll be able to add a picture from your desktop. Please choose a square jpg image file between 160 and 320 pixels. (Tip: Bigger is better here.)


Walk Route Instructions

Please see the walking route map below. The starting and ending point will be at the intersection of W. Philadelphia St. and N. Pershing Ave. The first lap, highlighted in persimmon, will take you from N. Pershing Ave., turning left onto W. Market St., then left onto N. George St. at Downtown York intersection, and finally left again on W. Philadelphia St. at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

The second lap, marked in red, will be the final round. Once you turn onto W. Market St., proceed by turning left onto N. Beaver St., then continue by turning left onto W. Philadelphia St.
